Facts
Keeping up with technology is inevitable for an expanding business, as is reaching out to the Hispanic community, which are the largest minority group in our country. In order to expand ones business, one must keep in mind their desired target market as well as which racial groups make up a large portion of our countries population. Minorities make up 1/3 of our total population. Thus it is important for a business to attract a variety of people.
Robert Bernstein, from the U.S. Department of Commerce, released a recent article called U.S. Hispanic Population Surpasses 45 Million, Now 15 Percent of Total. Bernstein states, "The nations Hispanic population increased 1.4 million to reach 45.5 million on July 1, 2007, or 15.1 percent of the estimated total U.S. population of 301.6 million.''
